Plusworld Roofing Academy (The Academy) understands the importance of protecting your personal data.

The Academy delivers online and onsite training. When you access the Academy, information is collected about your progress and performance, which may include grades, evaluation, performance, critiques, usage and engagement data, any User Content which you submit, including bulletin boards, discussion forums and surveys.
The Academy collects the following information from you
Personal Data about you when you enter your user account information and participate in course content, including in user posting areas (such as bulletin boards, discussion forums and surveys).
Information about the devices you use to interact with the Academy, including the location of these devices such as time zone, and OS.

Information about how you use the Academy site, such as what you have bookmarked, searched for and viewed.
Information about your academic performance and behavior related to test and poll taking, like progress, score, time spent, and your answers to these tests and polls.
Information relating to demographic, professional and other information that is publicly available online, and your social media platforms.

3.0 USE OF INFORMATION
The Academy uses your Personal data to enable you to access our courses and content, provide, analyse, administer, enhance and personalize our services and marketing efforts, process your registration, your orders and your payments and to communicate with you on these and other topics. specifically, we use information for the following;
To analyze the performance and functioning of the Academy
To compare the use of the Academy’s content among different audiences.
To resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; help promote safe matching; collect fees owed; measure consumer interest in Services; inform you about offers, products, services, and updates; customize your experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection. We use Website navigation data to operate, and improve the website and provide aggregated information about our Learning Management System.

We may combine the Personal Data collected by the Academy with other personal data including from third parties or through use of the academy’s website or other client services.
The Academy may use this combined data for analyses and assessments, including for the purpose of analyzing the impact of the Academy courses on its users.
The Academy may anonymize your Personal Data so that the data will no longer be identifiable. We may provide the anonymous data to third parties, including Sponsoring Organizations and our clients.
To help protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, such as requiring you to provide or confirm your identity, including your User Account Information, before granting access to your Personal Data. We will make reasonable attempts to promptly investigate, comply with, or otherwise respond to your requests as may be required by applicable law. Different laws or circumstances may prevent us from providing access to your Personal Data or otherwise fully complying with your request depending upon the circumstances and the request; such as for example, where producing your information may reveal the identity of someone. We may, including where required by applicable law or contract, notify your Sponsoring Organization of your request and coordinate with your Sponsoring Organization in responding to your request. We reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee for complying with your request where allowed by applicable law, and/or deny your requests where they may be manifestly unfounded, and/or excessive, or otherwise objectionable or unwarranted under applicable law.
4.0 INFORMATION SHARING
The academy may provide your Sponsors with user progress and proficiency data with respect to particular courses, which may constitute your Personal Data. The academy shall not be responsible or liable for the use of such information by your Sponsors, and such use shall be subject to your Sponsors policies (including privacy policies) applicable to you.
5.0 DATA RECIPIENTS AND INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Personal Data collected or processed by the Academy and anonymized or aggregated data may be transferred from time to time to the Academy subsidiaries and affiliates and their personnel (including employees and contractors) across our global organization, as well as to third party service providers located throughout the world.
The Academy Content may be viewed and hosted by third party service providers anywhere in the world. Where required by law, we have put in place legal mechanisms designed to ensure adequate data protection of your Personal Data that is processed by the Academy subsidiaries, affiliates, and third party service providers, including the transfer of your Personal Data to countries other than the one in which you reside.
